New Destination Brewery Coming to LaGrange

Something is brewing in historic, downtown LaGrange. What was once the Westbrook Service & Tire Co. building will soon become the home of Wild Leap Brew Co., the first brewery to locate in LaGrange. Wild Leap will feature a tasting room, indoor event space and an outdoor patio that will look upon a downtown plaza.

The name Wild Leap speaks to the conviction of the two founders, who left successful career paths to follow their passion of creating a better-tasting craft beer. It’s also a nod to celebrating that important first step that sets a dream in motion. The founders hope it encourages others in the community to take their own “wild leaps.”

“We believe life is about following your passions, embracing change… and sharing it all with family, friends and neighbors,” said Anthony Rodriguez, co-founder and CEO of Wild Leap Brew Co. “We’re so proud to have found such a unique location and be a part of the exciting improvements going on in downtown LaGrange.”

Revitalizing the historic site marks another “wild leap,” as it becomes one of the signature renovation projects in LaGrange’s south downtown area. “Wild Leap Brew Co. will be a huge draw in our continuing efforts to revitalize and beautify the historic downtown area. As part of the Callaway Foundation project, the brewery will adjoin a downtown plaza and overlook a beautiful green space. We see it becoming the gateway to downtown from the south end,” said Downtown LaGrange Development Authority Executive Director Bobby Carmichael.

“Our vision is to help our friends and neighbors connect and celebrate their wild leaps over an easy-drinking, handcrafted beverage in a unique and relaxing place… the kind of place where you want to meet up after work or on the way to take in an event downtown,” continued Rodriguez. “We look forward to introducing our craft beers to the community very soon.”
