Wild Leap Releases New Sunvale Blueberry Lemon

Just in time to quench your summer thirst, Wild Leap Brew Co. introduces its newest craft beer, Sunvale Blueberry Lemon (5.0% ABV, 5% IBU).

The dog days of summer call for something light and refreshing – the kind of beer that fits nicely in your hand as you kick back in a hammock. So head brewer Chris Elliot started with a clean, delicate, wheat beer, then added fresh blueberry puree and lemon. In fact, a whopping 1,000 pounds of blueberries were used to make juicy Sunvale Blueberry Lemon – that’s about a half-pound of fruit per gallon. Chris did a secondary fermentation with the fruit to truly integrate their flavor into the mix. The result is bright, light and slightly tart.

The Sunvale series is special edition of crisp, fruited beers especially brewed for easy spring and summer drinking. The line is focused on simple ingredients and refreshing finishes. You’ll find it now in six packs at select grocery stores, package and convenience stores in and around the Atlanta/LaGrange/Newnan/Peachtree City and Columbus areas and is coming soon to Athens, Gainesville and Augusta. Of course, you can also find it on draft at the brewery in downtown LaGrange.
